Maia is the Roman Goddess of Spring, Warmth and Fertility. "Maia", having linguistic roots in the Latin "magnus" or great and powerful, means "she who is great", and the month of May just might have been named in her honor. Flowers that begin to bloom throughout the spring are symbols of Maia. And in "Maia's Secret" by Microferk Designs, you find those delicate shades of spring, buds and blooms and the re-awakening of Earth! Based on a palette of golden yellows, spring greens and the deeper greens of beautiful leaves, the deep pinks and oranges as well as those barely-there shades of pink, peach and cream, this kit will entice you with it's promise of secret beauty as well! In "Maia's Secret" by Microferk Designs you get 12 gorgeous papers - all textured and/or patterned individually, and over 20 beautifully crafted elements. Elements include 4 silk flowers with jeweled centers, a set of 4 flower-shaped silver brads with jewel centers, 3 separate frames, distressed and embellished with painted flowers in both shadowed and unshadowed versions, 4 beautiful journal blocks, 3 slightly wrinkled journaling strips, a large bunch of creamy lilies, a pink and silver-edged ribbon, a set of 5 semi-transparent rim tags, a beaded swirl, and a beaded silver chain. Also included is a complete alpha set (upper and lower case letters, numbers and 7 extra characters) made in a translucent blush glass. Each element and alpha character is in its own file- no need to 'cut' apart. All elements and papers are created at 300ppi, with papers saved as high-resolution jpgs for stunning print clarity, and elements saved as png files to preserve transparency.
