Clipping masks are a fantastic tool for adding a very special artistic touch to your creations. You can use them not only to add flair to your photos, but also create fabulous edges to your favorite papers.
They are quick and easy to use as well - if your software can use layered template sketches, it will be able to use clipping masks in a similar way, for example: placing the photo on TOP of the mask and pressing CTRL-ALT-G in Photoshop, or using "Effects > Fill With Texture or Color > Picture" in Digital Image Pro. These masks are not "true black", so other software can also fill them with photos or papers.
You can have so much fun with these masks. These ones have varying degrees of opacity or a stunning effect. Experiment with various blending techniques. Or try rotating or resizing the clipping mask to suit the shape of your photo, e.g. flip it on its side for a portrait picture.
